Babakan Rahmanov, a forest guide in Hirkan National Park, is dedicated to preserving Azerbaijan’s rich biodiversity.

Working closely with WWF since 2002, he focuses on monitoring leopards and other endangered species using camera traps.

Known as the “forest man”, Babakan shares his love of nature, from climbing trees to educating visitors about local wildlife. His commitment to conservation and sustainable agriculture makes him a key person in protecting the environment for future generations.
